Mosher wins silver at inaugural para snowboard competition

Landgraaf, Netherlands (November 27, 2012) – Canadian Tyler Mosher earned two silver medals in the sling-shot snowboardcross event at para snowboarding’s competitive debut here last week.


Last May the International Paralympic Committee announced that para-snowboarding had earned a berth alongside para-skiing in the 2014 Sochi Paralymics. With 30 riders from ten countries competing, the Landgraaf event, which took place at an indoor snowfield, represented a milestone for the nascent discipline.

WSF Para~Snowboard World Cup in Nakiska, AB


(Nakiska, AB – April 3, 2012) Consecutive WSF Para~Snowboard World Cups took place over the past two days in perfect weather at Nakiska Resort in the Canadian Rockies.
